Breakfast Pizza #BrunchWeek

This post is sponsored in conjunction with #BrunchWeek. I received product samples from sponsor companies to aid in the creation of the #Brunchweek recipes. All opinions are mine alone.

Does it get better than brunch? I really don’t think so. There’s so much joy in a low-key, mid-morning get together than includes everything from breakfast to dessert – and of course, cocktails.

Breakfast Pizza 3

But, let’s get back to why you’re here – the food. Or more specifically, this breakfast pizza.
It is, seriously, what brunch dreams are made of.
A crisp, chewy pizza crust topped off with a garlic sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, and Cabot Shredded Mozzarella Cheese – it’s the prefect bridge between breakfast and lunch, and a definite crowd pleaser!
And, despite looking impressive, this is really easy to make. If you can scramble an egg, you can make this brunch treat!

Breakfast Pizza 1

Breakfast Pizza

Serves 6

1 prepared pizza crust
4 slices of bacon, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. cream cheese
1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
9 eggs
6 Tbsp. half and half
3/4 tsp. onion powder
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/4 cups Cabot Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 green onions, chopped

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium-high heat. When cooked but not crisp, remove to a paper towel lined plate with a slotted spoon.

Add the garlic to the bacon drippings and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Whisk in the cream cheese until melted. Whisk in the broth until everything is smooth.

Spread this sauce over the prepared crust.

Whisk together the eggs, half and half, and seasonings. In another skillet, scramble the eggs. When they’re just about cooked, but barely runny, transfer to the pizza crust. Top evenly with cheese and green onions.

Bake for 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crust is hot. Let sit for 2-3 minutes before cutting.
