It’s strawberry season here! The kids and I spent yesterday morning at one of our favorite local farms picking a whole flat of gorgeous berries – so now we’re making everything strawberry.
Do you want to take bets on how many things I can stick strawberries in over the next few days?
I’m doing a mix of getting things put up for storage – jam yesterday, pie filling today – and incorporating them into what we’re eating now.
This quick and easy salsa was a great was to serve some of the berries up – it really highlights the flavor of the strawberries without the added sugar that a lot of my other plans include.
I served this over grilled chicken for dinner, but it would also be amazing scooped up with tortilla chips.
