Cake Batter Milkshakes #SpringSweetsWeek

This post is sponsored in conjunction with #SpringSweetsWeek. I received product samples from sponsor companies to help in the creation of the #SpringSweetsWeek recipes. All opinions are mine alone.

My mantra for the year is “keep things simple”. I adopted it in January to be a reminder that simple can be plenty good too – and these milkshakes are a perfect example. They taste like you’re drinking a slice of cake!

Five ingredients, ten minutes, and this fun treat is ready for sipping. When was the last time your dessert was that easy?

Jump to:

Ingredients

  • 3-4 large scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 Tbsp. white cake mix
  • 3 Tbsp. sprinkles + additional for topping
  • Whipped cream, for topping

The ingredients for these are super simple, but the sprinkles dress it up a ton! For these, I used Fresh April Sprinkles Spring It On Sprinkle Blend. The adorable bunnies and chicks in it just scream spring! She has so many fun sprinkle options, though, that you could make these for any occasion!

Directions

  • In a blender, combine the ice cream, milk, and cake mix and blend until smooth.
  • Stir in the 3 Tbsp. sprinkles.
  • Divide between glasses and top with whipped cream and additional sprinkles.
  • Serve immediately.

This recipe makes 2 large milkshakes – but we served them as milkshake shots instead! If you’re going with the smaller ones, it’ll make about a dozen depending on the size of your glasses.

I just love the smaller size as an option for holiday dessert spreads – especially if you have kids that want to sample everything!
