Ingredients

Ready to make chicken spaghetti? Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 3 cups dry spaghetti broken up into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 small green pepper, diced
  • 1 4 oz. jar pimentos

How to Make Chicken Spaghetti

This casserole is quite easy to put together!

Start by cooking the spaghetti pieces according to the package directions, until they’re al dente.

While the spaghetti cooks, grab a large bowl and add to it the chicken, chicken, cream of mushroom soup, 2 cups shredded cheddar, diced onion, diced peppers, pimentos, seasoned salt, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Mix it together until it’s all well combined.

When the spaghetti is done cooking, drain it and add it to the large bowl. Mix it well to incorporate the spaghetti evenly.

Grab a 9×13″ baking dish and spray it lightly with non-stick spray.

Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and smooth out so it’s even. Top with remaining cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

Top Tips for Making Chicken Spaghetti

  • This recipe uses chicken that’s already cooked. I usually cook my chicken in the Instant Pot and then shred it. A rotisserie chicken works really well, too!
  • This recipe can be prepped ahead and frozen. Prep until ready to bake, and then wrap the casserole tightly in plastic wrap to freeze. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before baking. You may need to add a few minutes to the bake time if it’s still a little forzen!
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave.

More Cozy Casseroles for Winter

Casseroles are a huge hit in my house during the winter months! There’s just something about that one-dish comfort – and I’m a huge fan of the fact they can be prepped ahead of time.

Bacon Pierogi Bake is another we’ve enjoyed for more than a decade! Spinach and Artichoke Ravioli Bake is a newer favorite for us.

Baked Ziti with Sausage, Mexican Lasagna, and Pepperoni Pizza Casserole are also big hits here!
